Privacy

The short version: no adverts, no tracking, no account needed. Last updated: October 2026.

What stays on your device

Your settings, outfit, the courses you build, your best scores and Golfle results are saved in your browser on this device only. We never see them. To remove them, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

What's shared online (only if you use online play)

Parties, friends and public courses need a small online database. When you first use them, the game signs you in as an anonymous guest (no email or password) and stores:

While you're playing, your name and party code are visible to your friends and to people in your party. Party scores are shared with the party. There is no chat.

Golfle averages

When you finish your first Golfle of the day, your number of shots is added to that day's results so everyone can see the average. It's stored with a random code for your device (so nobody is counted twice), never with your name.

Player numbers

To see how the game is doing, it counts things like "a round was finished" or "a Golfle result was shared": just a number per day, with nothing about who did it. Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across websites.

Deleting your online data

Open Party on the home screen and choose Delete my online data. This removes your name, email, backup, friends list and published courses straight away.

Services the game uses

Children

Mossy Links is for all ages. Online names are checked for rude words, and anyone can report an unsuitable course. Please don't use your full real name as your player name.

Questions

Email mossylinks.help@gmail.com. You can also delete everything the game holds about you at any time with Delete my online data (see above).
